Obesity and overweight problems
Obesity can be define as a condition that results from the excessive storage of fat in the body . It is seen as a weight more than 20% above what is considered normal according to sandard age ,height and weight tables or by a complex formula known as Body Mass Index (BMI)
The Body mass index is a measurement based on the height and weight of a person .The higher the BMI , the more obese you are .BMI apply to both men and women regardless of thier frame size or muscles mass except on pregnant or lactating mohtres , individuals below 16 , frail or sedentary elderly people ,competitive athletes and professioal body builders
How to Calculate bod mass index
The world health orgnaisation defines BMI as
BMI = Weight (kg) = kg
Height (m) x(m) m2
The weight range for BMI is 18.5 -22.9

BMI Meaning
< 18.5 You are underweight
18.5-22.9 Normal ,healthy weight
=23 Overweight
25-29.9 Obese
=30 Severely Obese
